Update

It has been a while since our last update, but I have continued to put it off in hopes that we would have more concrete information to share. However, I feel like I need to catch our prayer warriors up on how to pray a little more specifically.

When God called us to adopt from Haiti we were told innumerable times that the Haiti process is very long and FULL of uncertainties. We understand that those uncertainties do not exist for God, that He has this journey mapped out and that His plan and HIS timing are perfect.

Since we last updated we have entered and exited legalization in Haiti. YAY!  We are currently waiting to enter IBESR (Haiti Social services). It is during this phase that we will be matched with the child/children that become Fitzgerald's. There have been a few changes since the beginning of our process and one is specific to this phase.  This change could significantly alter our plans, but we know that changes in Haiti's laws can't stop what God plans to do in our lives or the lives of our future children.

Please PRAY that God will prepare our hearts to move forward in whatever way He chooses to use us.
Please PRAY that we continue to have spirits of peace.
Please PRAY for Molly and Lincoln- they are excited to welcome new sibling and they pray for them every night.

It is my hope that soon I will be informing you that we have been submitted to IBESR. From that point it could be months before we hear anything else, but we completely trust God's timing. We are constantly looking for ways that God is preparing us to be the family that this child/children need us to be.

Abandoned to Christ,
Amy
