Moving forward...but slowly...

I haven't updated in a while because I was REALLY hoping that my next post would be announcing that we had our adoption decree. While that hasn't happened yet, we have moved closer. The month of January was filled with mixed emotions as we waited for a meeting on our case to happen that could only happen on Fridays. The first two attempts were unsuccessful, but we finally received news that it happened making the next big step for our decree. I was really hoping the judge would sign our decree after that meeting, but the report that we were given said that it usually takes the judge 1-2 months to sign after that meeting. So...we wait.
It was our hope that we would not be going to visit our boys in Haiti anymore because they would be coming home soon. BUT, a homecoming date does not seem to be in the immediate future, so Molly and I are planning a trip to see them in March.
We still have several steps before they can travel home. The decree is the next big step. We are praying that this happens soon!!!
